Fall Goats

Imagine the rumble of the super-cub engine, your bearing down on a small picturesque Coast Mountain lake, suddenly its silent just the water skimming across the floats. Pack on your back and boots on the ground, you venture into some of the most beautiful Mountain Goat summer and fall range you could ever imagine. You are home for the next 10 days. Our early fall hunts take place from Aug. 10th to Oct. 31st in the high alpine basins and peaks of the Coast Mountains.

Late Season Goat Hunts

By late October the first snows start pushing the goats from the high country to lower bluffs. Nannies and billies start moving closer together. Some monster billies otherwise found in inaccessible country move to lower elevations to herd up nannies. The action can be fast and furious when the billies start fighting for breeding rights. Our Legendary Late Season goat hunts run from Nov. 1 thru the end of Feb.

Ocean Black Bear

In the early spring big, mature boars dominate the prime feeding areas along the coastal estuaries. This gives Bolen Lewis the opportunity to offer a Black Bear hunt like no other. Imagine living on the ocean for 7 days, cruising coastline, glassing and stalking some of the biggest bears BC has to offer. Lodge Black Bear

As the snow recedes up the mountains in the spring, black bears hungrily emerge from hibernation. The first areas to see green grasses are sun-exposed slide shoots, cut blocks, and logging roads. With a beautiful lodge and hundreds of miles of access to the mountains, our lodge hunt is the perfect recipe for spot and stalk hunting huge coastal black bears.
